About us

The Island Makers has been established in a response to the worrying and uncertain times that we all find ourselves in.  We are a collective of over 25 talented artists and makers who are all based on the Isle of Scilly.  Our aim is to support those within and outside of our community - We all feel very vulnerable.

 

Through this website platform, we hope to not only sell a wonderful collection of artisan gifts, artwork and homewares but keep in touch and offer support to each other, include things of interest to those who love the islands, and even throw in the occasional creative challenge.

It is really worth registering for updates,  we intend to send you blogs a couple of times a week, more information on all of our talented makers plus a little bit of Island life and how we will work together to meet the challenges of the times ahead.
