This cowl is handwoven in a beautiful mix of 45% silk and 55% blue faced Leicester wool on a cotton warp. The yarn is called Gleem Lace (from Fyberpstates)  and you can see why! The yarn has a subtle sheen and they dying process gives beautiful tones to the colour. Perfect to brighten up a navy coat. Although it's vibrant it's still a very flattering colour. Conjures up our fields of whistling jacks in May. I've sewn this into a long cowl for those that don't like scarf ends blowing in the wind.
