I'm Mark Sedgman and I live on the Off Island of St. Agnes. I came to the Islands over 36 years ago on a Mainland fishing boat and got left behind when they returned.
I have worked on a local fishing boat, on a flower farm for 20 years and ran a Guesthouse on St. Agnes. For the last 7 years I have been the Skipper of the St. Agnes passenger boat 'The Spirit of St. Agnes'
I started making my decorative rope mats last year using natural fope and rope I find washed up on the shores of St. Agnes and Gugh. The natural rope mats can also be used as hot pads.
